Welcome to PG Quick (referred to herein as “PG Quick”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a cloud-based paying guest (PG) and hostel accommodation management mobile and web application operated by PG Quick Technologies, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. We take your privacy and data security with the utmost seriousness.
This Privacy Policy explains how information about PG Owners, Staff Managers, and Residents is collected, used, protected, and disclosed when using our mobile application and related web services.
1. Information We Collect
A. Account & Profile Information
When you register as an owner or staff manager, we collect your name, business/property name, phone number, email address, and encrypted credentials.
B. Tenant & Resident Records (Entered by PG Owners)
To maintain the digital occupancy register and generate rent dues, PG owners input resident details including tenant name, contact phone number, emergency contact, room and bed allocation, check-in dates, and security deposit amounts.
C. Identification & KYC Documents
PG owners may use the app camera or photo gallery to upload identity verification documents (such as Aadhaar card, government IDs, college/employment IDs, or rental agreements) for police verification and legal resident record-keeping.
D. Financial & Transaction Data
Records of monthly rent payments, payment modes (Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer), transaction dates, outstanding dues, and operational expenses (groceries, electricity, repairs, staff salaries). We do not collect or store credit card numbers, debit card PINs, or net banking passwords.
2. App Device Permissions & Justification
- Camera & Photo Gallery (Photos Permission): Used exclusively to photograph and attach tenant identity documents, rental agreement copies, and expense receipts. Photos are only accessed when explicitly chosen by the user.
- Network / Internet: Used to securely synchronize property data, check live room occupancy status, and communicate with our cloud infrastructure.
- Notifications: Used to notify owners about rent payment confirmations, upcoming lease expiries, and scheduled system backups.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information strictly for operational and service delivery purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the PG Quick mobile application and dashboard.
- To compute room and bed availability and real-time floor occupancy statistics.
- To generate automated WhatsApp rent payment reminders and digital rent receipts.
- To maintain digital tenant KYC files for statutory compliance and safety.
- To compile profit/loss reports and daily expense ledgers for property owners.
- To diagnose technical errors, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.
4. Information Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties, data brokers, or advertising platforms. Data is only shared with trusted cloud service providers (such as encrypted database hosting and transactional SMS/WhatsApp gateways) necessary to deliver app functionality.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain user account data for as long as your account remains active. Property owners can request complete deletion of their account and all associated tenant data at any time through our Account Deletion Page or by contacting our team.
6. Security Measures
All data transmitted between your mobile device and our cloud servers is encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Sensitive credentials and KYC documents are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
